Summary
Mr. Galin practices all aspects of intellectual property law, including matters related to patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. Mr. Galin focuses his practice on preparing patent applications and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to assist clients in protecting inventions in a wide variety of technical fields. Mr. Galin has extensive experience handling patent applications in foreign countries. In addition, Mr. Galin counsels clients, prepares patent opinions and prepares and prosecutes trademark applications.

Mr. Galin has successfully secured patent protection on behalf of clients ranging in size from individual inventors to multi-billion dollar, international corporations. Mr. Galin handles patent matters for a wide range of technologies, including: semiconductor devices for high speed computer processors and flash memory assemblies; manufacturing techniques for a wide variety of semiconductor devices and nano-devices; software applications and software-based control systems; telecommunication systems; micro-electrical mechanical systems (MEMS); electrical circuits; optical devices; computer hardware; remote monitoring; and mechanical assemblies.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Galin was a systems engineer for the MITRE Corporation in Bedford, Massachusetts where he acted as a consultant to the U.S. Air Force on the acquisition of a worldwide communications system. While at Georgia Tech, Mr. Galin participated in an integrated electro-optics research program.
