Summary
Ms. Boehlefeld focuses her practice on intellectual property matters with particular expertise in chemical and mechanical arts.
More specifically, she has extensive knowledge in the areas of polymeric coatings and films.
Ms. Boehlefeld is experienced in handling patent procurement both within the U.S. and throughout the world. She often counsels her
clients across a broad range of intellectual property matters including: IP portfolio management; patentability, infringement and
validity opinions; and trademark selection, registration and protection. Ms. Boehlefeld also provides counseling on trade secret
and copyright matters.
Ms. Boehlefeld joined the firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2003. She was named an Ohio Super Lawyer by Law & Politics in January of 2005.
Prior to joining the firm, she was in-house patent and trademark counsel for The Sherwin-Williams Company. Ms. Boehlefeld began her career as a
research engineer for BP America.
