Summary
Mr. DuChez is a senior partner in the firm's Chemical Practice Group. He began his career as an attorney by working as in-house counsel for two Fortune 500 companies. He joined the firm in 1980 and within three years became a partner. Mr. DuChez has over 30 years of experience in the practice of intellectual property law in the areas of patent preparation and prosecution, counseling and litigation.
Currently, Mr. DuChez’s practice primarily focuses in the areas of client counseling and patent preparation and prosecution in the chemical and mechanical arts. As part of his diversified practice, Mr. DuChez’s represents numerous domestic and foreign corporations and assists his clients in the management of their intellectual property.
Over the course of his career, he has lectured before numerous groups, including various bar associations in the United States and the patent staffs of foreign corporations in Europe and Japan. Mr. DuChez was named an Ohio Super Lawyer in January 2005 by Law & Politics.
