Cory began as a law clerk at Renner Otto in 2011 and became an associate in 2013.  He received his law degree, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University, with honors in the Law, Technology and the Arts Concentration.  While clerking Cory also interned at a global manufacturing and engineering firm and participated in the Intellectual Property Entrepreneurship Clinic at Case Western to represent both start-up and established companies.

Before beginning his legal career, Cory obtained practical engineering experience through multiple mechanical engineering internship positions with multinational aerospace companies, as well as through a laboratory position testing newly designed mechanical products.

In his spare time, Cory regularly exercises and plays multiple athletic sports including soccer, football, and tennis, to maintain a healthy balance of physical activity in his daily life.
