Biography

Mark is a partner who focuses his practice on intellectual property enforcement and defense. He has a wide range of experience advising and representing domestic and international clients. Mark is experienced in all aspects of litigation from case intake through appeal. He has handled both plaintiff and defense matters, large and small, in Federal District Courts throughout the country and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, in addition to challenging and defending patents before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The hallmarks of Mark's practice are creativity and efficiency in developing and implementing litigation strategies to meet his clients’ business, strategic and financial goals.

In addition to his litigation work, Mark is a trusted advisor to his clients, helping them navigate complex intellectual property landscapes. Mark’s counseling services include opinions, such as right-to-market, infringement and validity opinions, as well as licensing and various other forms of intellectual property management and transactional work.
