Summary
Ms. Batts joined Renner Otto as a law clerk in 2006 and remains with the firm as an associate. As a member of the firm’s Trial Practice Group, Elizabeth’s main focus is on litigation at the pre-trial, trial and appellate levels. Her experience includes cases involving both utility and design patent infringement, as well as other matters related to the protection of intellectual property.
Prior to attending law school, Elizabeth interned at General Electric Transportation in Evendale, Ohio. At GE she worked as an engineer in the industrial turbine product line, aero-derivative product and service, and data privacy groups. Elizabeth graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2008.
Ms. Batts serves as a Big Sister through Big Brother/Big Sister of Cleveland as well as a literacy tutor through Cleveland Reads.
