Summary
Mr. Fafrak focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to assist clients in protecting inventions in a wide variety of technical fields. Examples of technical fields in which Mr. Fafrak has handled patent matters include: image-guided surgical systems; semiconductor devices for high speed computer processors and flash memory assemblies; manufacturing techniques for a wide variety of semiconductor devices; software applications and software-based control systems; micro-electrical mechanical systems (MEMS); electrical circuits; and mechanical assemblies.
Mr. Fafrak has successfully secured patent protection on behalf of clients ranging in size from individual inventors to multi-billion dollar, international corporations. He also counsels clients, prepares patent opinions and prepares and prosecutes trademark applications.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fafrak was employed as a control/application engineer for Rockwell Automation and Emerson Drive Solutions, with extensive experience in tire and rubber, crane and hoist and paper converting applications.
