Summary
Mr. Johnson is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Team. Mr. Johnson also assists clients in numerous intellectual property matters including patent and trademark prosecution and intellectual property portfolio management. He has broad experience in a variety of technological areas and has prosecuted patents relating to: computer hardware and networks, computer software and databases, biomedical devices and implants, electrical and mechanical devices, business methods, liquid crystal devices and microdisplays and semiconductor devices.
Mr. Johnson has designed and developed software for assembling, managing and organizing intellectual property portfolios and competitive patent mapping information. He has also structured a variety of agreements for clients such as intellectual property licensing and joint venture agreements, web site development and terms of use agreements, affiliate referral programs and software development agreements.
While attending law school, Mr. Johnson supervised research for the Department of Orthopaedics at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
