Summary
Todd is a partner in Renner Otto’s Trial Practice Group and has served as lead trial counsel in both patent and trademark actions.  In addition to his first-chair experience, he has also acted as trial counsel in numerous other patent infringement actions as well as in actions for trademark/trade dress infringement and trade secret misappropriation.  As part of his trial practice, Todd has also managed teams of multiple lawyers during large, multi-week trials.  He is well-versed in all facets of intellectual property trial practice including oral arguments, claim constructions, post-trial and appellate briefing, preliminary injunctions and summary judgment motions as well all aspects of discovery .

Additionally, Mr. Tucker oversees the procurement and management of several worldwide patent portfolios in the technical areas of spinal fixation devices, endoscopes and related accessories, medical imaging probes and other mechanical arts.

Todd has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2005, 2006 and 2007 .

A substantial part of his practice involves the procurement of large patent portfolios and their enforcement overseas.  Many of these actions have involved clients located or doing business in China.  He has also served as a special master to the Court in a trade secrets matter .

He has litigated patents in diverse fields such as RFID devices, semiconductor inspection equipment, hand-held telecommunications test sets, chromium plating, consumer-cleaning solutions, DVD processors, video/keyboard computer switches, window sealants and bulletproof vests .
