Summary
Mr. Slaby practices all aspects of intellectual property law, including matters related to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. He focuses his work in patent preparation and prosecution. He also does significant work in preparing patent infringement, validity, patentability, freedom-to-market, and due diligence opinions. He has handled matters involving a variety of technologies in the chemical and life-science arts.
Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Slaby worked as a chemist for a company that made brighteners and other chemicals for the electroplating industry. His duties included quality control, technical service for customers, and research and testing for product development.
