Summary
Mr. Manning represents and counsels clients in all areas of patent practice, including patent procurement, trial and appellate litigation, validity and infringement opinions, licensing and due-diligence analyses. As an electrical engineer, Mr. Manning has handled legal matters in many technologies, including wireless computer equipment, computer networks, liquid crystal displays, software applications, web browser plug-ins, digital video and audio signal compression and processing systems, semiconductor fabrication, point of sale encryption devices, biomedical devices, biometric authentication interfaces, consumer electronics, as well as various mechanical systems.
Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Manning worked as a Research Engineer in the Biomedical Research Department of The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
