Summary
Mr. Tucker is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Team. As part of the firm’s Litigation Team, Mr. Tucker has participated as trial counsel in several patent infringement jury trials as well as in actions for trademark/trade dress infringement.
In his practice, Mr. Tucker has argued patent infringement preliminary injunction motions and has conducted all phases of discovery for patent, trademark, trade dress and trade secret actions. Mr. Tucker has also prosecuted trademark opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mr. Tucker’s trial practice is supplemented by his experience with alternative dispute resolution, which includes the arbitration of a variety of intellectual property actions.
Besides his litigation experience, Mr. Tucker also counsels clients on the development, procurement, maintenance and enforcement of worldwide intellectual property portfolios and he has extensive experience with negotiating licenses for his clients’ intellectual property. Mr. Tucker also drafts and prosecutes patent applications in a variety of technical fields including bone fixation/arthoplasty devices, window sealants, solar panels and rear projection films.
While attending the University of Dayton School of Law, Mr. Tucker was the managing editor of the University of Dayton Law Review. Mr. Tucker also was the Best Oralist in Walter Rice Moot Court Competition.
