Summary
Mr. Adams practices a broad spectrum of intellectual property law. Mr. Adams primarily focuses his work in patent preparation and prosecution and in rendering opinions on patent infringement and validity, freedom-to-market and due diligence. Mr. Adams focuses his patent preparation and prosecution in the chemical and semiconductor materials arts. He has extensive experience with materials such as lubricants, polymers, adhesives, rubbers, plastics and composites. Mr. Adams also works with semiconductor devices for high speed computer processors and manufacturing techniques for a wide variety of semiconductor devices.
Mr. Adams also represents a variety of clients with trademark selection, registration and maintenance.
Mr. Adams is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he teaches "Patent Law and Practice."
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Adams worked for fifteen years as a research, analytical and technical services chemist in addition to his experience as a chemical engineer. Mr. Adams's experience includes nine years as a distillery quality assurance and environmental manager at a rum distillery in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
