Biography

Lauren focuses her practice on trademark prosecution and enforcement. She advises clients on trademark clearances and assists the client throughout the trademark application process. She manages clients’ trademark portfolios domestically and internationally. Lauren has also managed and assisted in various opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

She has prosecuted numerous U.S. trademark applications, including drafting of substantive Office Action Responses and submission of renewal filing documents. She has managed U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board cancellation and opposition proceedings, as well as Requests for Reconsideration.

Lauren’s experience extends to the investigation of suspected infringements and drafting of demand letters and takedown notices. Lauren has also previously drafted design patents and has prosecuted U.S. copyright registration applications.

Since 2021, Lauren has worked on pro bono cases with Tahirih Justice Center, where she serves as Co-Counsel on immigration matters such as adjustment of status applications filed with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Lauren is from California where she graduated summa cum laude from Golden Gate University School of Law with a specialization certificate in Intellectual Property Law. While at Golden Gate University, Lauren served as the Managing Editor of the Environmental Law Journal and President of the Intellectual Property and Privacy Law Association. In Lauren’s free time, she enjoys walking, hiking, and camping with her husband and two dogs.
