About Sarah

Sarah’s practice primarily includes Intellectual Property litigation, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, performing prior art searches, and assisting in clearance and non-infringement analysis. 

Sarah is involved in patent prosecution including preparing U.S. applications and office action responses as well as working with foreign agents to advance clients’ patent strategies. She is also involved in intellectual property litigation and has participated in copyright litigation by drafting motions, preparing discovery requests and responses, assisting in deposition preparation, analyzing documents produced by opposing counsel for relevancy, in addition to conducting patent and copyright litigation research. Sarah has experience filing consent motions with the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board in trademark opposition proceedings. Sarah had the opportunity to contribute revising and editing various chapters of the Lexis Treatise titled "The Law of Electronic Commercial Transactions.”

Sarah attended The University of Akron School of Law and concentrated her studies on Intellectual Property Law. During law school, Sarah served as President of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Association, Fellow for the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Center, and Managing Editor of the IP Issue of the Akron Law Review. She graduated with her Juris Doctor in May 2019, receiving a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law.

Prior to attending law school, Sarah received her Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University, majoring in Microbiology.
