Biography

Warren’s practice primarily is focused on to patent, trademark and copyright application preparation and prosecution and on licensing agreements and counseling clients in connection with their intellectual property matters. He has worked with inventors in many different areas of electrical and mechanical technologies.

Warren’s experience in the world of intellectual property began prior to joining Renner Otto when he was a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. While at the USPTO Warren twice was honored to have been invited to participate as a clerk for two different members of what then was known as the Board of Appeals.

To keep abreast of technology developments in various fields of invention in which he has worked, Warren has attended various national and international educational symposia, such as Society for Information Display (SID) and International Display Workshops (IDW), as well as trade shows in fields in which his clients have worked.

Warren enjoys traveling to visit with clients throughout the U.S. and in many other countries around the world. He had been an avid skier and jogger until recent hip surgery reduced his exercise activities to biking, swimming and walking. Also, Warren has been a sailing enthusiast of small sailboats for many years, having been owner of Thistle #690 sailboat.
